This one-off workshop is all about giving you the moves, the music familiarity, and the cultural context to enjoy yourself on the dancefloor with ease. We’ll cover the essential social steps, the signature energy of Iraqi party dance, and simple styling tips that make everything feel natural and fun — all set to a soundtrack of popular Iraqi music you’re likely to hear at these celebrations.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to:
• feel comfortable joining in at community events
• understand the vibe, musical cues and flow of Iraqi social dancing
• enjoy a relaxed night of movement with other women
• try a new style without needing any previous experience
